SHARJAH: The program brought together an elite group of Gulf youth aged between 15 and 18 years, fostering leadership within a framework aligned with the visions of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) governments. Focused on sustainability, globalization, and digital skills, the initiative seeks to prepare young leaders for a sustainable and prosperous Gulf future.
Organized by the Sharjah Youth and Sharjah Girls Association, and approved during the 37th Committee of Ministers of Youth and Sports meeting in the GCC, the program reflects the pioneering efforts of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators. Through its various workshops, training sessions, and field visits, participants explored Sharjah’s developmental projects, promoting constructive cooperation and leadership development.
The program provided the youth with an opportunity to gain practical insights into key areas of leadership and innovation. It encouraged participants to engage with global challenges while considering the specific needs of the Gulf region. By focusing on sustainability and digital skills, the initiative aimed to equip the next generation of leaders with the tools needed to navigate the rapidly changing world and contribute to the economic and social prosperity of the Gulf.
In addition to developing leadership skills, the program also emphasized the importance of teamwork, communication, and critical thinking. Through hands-on activities and collaboration with industry experts, the youth gained valuable experiences that will help them in their future endeavors. This initiative represents a significant step toward shaping a future generation of leaders who are ready to take on challenges and drive positive change in the region.
