UAE Sees Warmer Temperatures With Increased Humidity

UAE: The UAE is experiencing slightly warmer weather today, with a noticeable increase in temperatures across the country. According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), coastal areas are expected to see temperatures rise to 30°C, while internal regions will experience highs between 23°C and 28°C. The highest recorded temperature today was 38°C in Mezaira, Al Dhafra, at 3:30 PM. Despite the rise in temperatures, conditions remain relatively stable, with humidity levels increasing throughout the evening, creating a potential for fog or mist formation in various areas.

Looking ahead, the weather is expected to shift slightly, with the NCM forecasting partly cloudy to cloudy conditions over northern, coastal, and eastern areas. There is also a chance of scattered rainfall as a cooler air mass moves in, leading to a drop in temperatures. This shift will bring some relief from the warmth, particularly in the interior regions where temperatures have been climbing. The combination of cloud cover and lower temperatures is expected to create a more comfortable atmosphere, although humidity levels will still remain high during the night.

Humidity is forecasted to peak between 85 to 90 percent in internal and coastal areas, particularly during the night and early morning hours. This increased moisture content will contribute to the formation of fog or mist in certain areas, reducing visibility for motorists and early-morning travelers. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions when driving, as visibility could be significantly affected in some regions. The presence of humidity also means that while daytime temperatures may feel warm, nighttime conditions could become slightly cooler with a damp atmosphere.

The sea conditions will remain relatively calm, with slight to moderate waves expected in the Arabian Gulf and slight waves in the Oman Sea. These conditions make it a favorable time for marine activities, although individuals heading out to sea should stay updated on weather advisories. As the country moves through this transitional weather phase, residents can expect fluctuating temperatures and varying levels of cloud cover over the coming days. The NCM continues to monitor weather patterns closely and advises the public to stay informed about potential changes, especially as humidity levels remain a key factor influencing daily conditions.
