MUSCAT: Sultan Qaboos University marked a significant milestone as 1,613 male and female students graduated in the first ceremony of the 35th batch from the university’s scientific colleges. Graduates hailed from diverse fields including Engineering, Medicine and Health Sciences, Science, Nursing, and Agricultural and Marine Sciences, all of whom represent the future of Oman’s academic and professional landscape.
Dr. Rashid bin Khalfan Al Abri, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, congratulated the graduating doctors and nurses on this great achievement. He emphasized the important responsibility these graduates bear in the healthcare sector, stressing that this moment is not just the culmination of their efforts but also a pledge to serve humanity with sincerity and honesty.
The ceremony, which took place on Sunday, was the first of two graduation sessions for the 35th batch. The second session is scheduled for Wednesday, and it will continue to celebrate the academic achievements of this remarkable cohort.
