Sultan Haitham City Landscape Wins Top Design Award

MUSCAT: The landscape design for Sultan Haitham City’s Phase One has been honored with the prestigious 2025–2026 Best Landscape Architectural Design at the Arabian Property Awards. This award places the project among the top regional developments that integrate aesthetic, functional, and sustainable landscaping strategies. The masterplan was evaluated on criteria such as design innovation, environmental sensitivity, and contribution to the urban environment, which the jury found exemplary in Sultan Haitham City’s case.

Phase One of the project covers residential, commercial, and public spaces that blend natural elements with modern urban living. The design aims to foster a sense of community while enhancing the livability and ecological performance of the new city. Planners incorporated native flora, open green spaces, shaded pedestrian walkways, and water-efficient irrigation systems that not only elevate visual appeal but also conserve vital resources.

The Arabian Property Awards, known for recognizing excellence in real estate and architecture across the Middle East, saw entries from numerous leading firms. Sultan Haitham City stood out for its holistic approach to landscape architecture—melding tradition, modernity, and sustainability in one vision. Its recognition reaffirms Oman’s growing leadership in the field of environmentally conscious urban development.

This win is expected to further raise international awareness of Oman’s urban planning ambitions and reinforce investor confidence in the Sultan Haitham City project. With Phase One paving the way, the broader development is set to become a model for future cities across the region, prioritizing sustainability, cultural relevance, and high quality of life.
