SAUDIA ARABIA: Saudi authorities have reported the deportation of over 7,000 individuals who were found violating residency, labor, and border security laws in the kingdom. This development follows a series of coordinated inspection campaigns carried out by various government agencies targeting illegal residents and undocumented workers across multiple regions. These efforts are part of an ongoing national strategy to regulate the labor market and reinforce national security.
In addition to the deportations, 1,260 individuals were arrested while attempting to illegally cross into Saudi Arabia. Most of these individuals were caught at the southern borders, and a significant number were of African and Asian nationalities. Border security forces confirmed that many of the attempts were thwarted due to advanced monitoring systems and increased patrols. The government has made clear that illegal entry into the kingdom is a serious offense that will be met with strict penalties.
Officials also revealed that legal action is being taken against those who assist in sheltering or transporting violators.
