Salalah Opens Razat Sultaniya Farm Tourist Track

MUSCAT: The Royal Court Affairs has announced the official opening of the tourist track at Razat Sultaniya Farm in Salalah, Dhofar Governorate, following the Royal orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. Starting Monday, the farm will welcome visitors to experience its agricultural environment and enjoy its natural beauty. This step is part of a broader vision to enhance tourism in the region by combining nature, agriculture, and leisure, creating an experience that reflects Oman’s heritage and modern agricultural advancements.

The tourist route is designed to allow visitors to explore different aspects of the farm, including vast green fields, tropical and perennial trees, and a wide variety of crops. Guests will also get to see the production of fruits, vegetables, and dairy products, all cultivated and processed under precise scientific and technical standards. This initiative aims to showcase sustainable farming practices and the importance of agriculture in food security and economic diversification.

Transportation for visitors will be provided through dedicated buses that start from the outdoor reception hall, accompanied by experienced tour guides. These guides will explain the different farming processes and lead guests through various stations within the farm, ending at an integrated station equipped with modern facilities for comfort and convenience. The Royal Court Affairs has ensured that the tour is well-organized to deliver an enriching and educational experience for all age groups.

Reservations for the tour can be made online through the official website https://razatfarm.gov.om, with bookings opening on Sunday, August 17. This innovative project not only creates a new attraction for Dhofar’s tourism sector but also strengthens the role of agricultural tourism in Oman’s development strategy. By highlighting the link between agriculture and tourism, the initiative contributes to food security awareness and promotes sustainable practices while offering visitors an unforgettable journey into the heart of Oman’s natural and agricultural treasures.
