Royal Decrees No. 39/2025 And 40/2025 Issued

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has issued two Royal Decrees: Royal Decree No. 39/2025 and Royal Decree No. 40/2025, reflecting the continued evolution of Oman’s legal and administrative frameworks. These new decrees form part of the nation’s strategic direction to enhance governance and support national development priorities in line with Oman Vision 2040.

Royal Decree No. 39/2025 pertains to the restructuring of a key governmental body, aiming to improve efficiency and streamline operations to better serve the public. The changes outlined in this decree are expected to enhance coordination among ministries and reinforce transparency and performance within public sector entities.

Royal Decree No. 40/2025 introduces amendments to an existing law, aligning its provisions with modern practices and current challenges. The decree seeks to empower institutions with updated legal tools that reflect both regional developments and international best practices, ensuring Omani law remains progressive and adaptable.
