MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced that its Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances successfully apprehended six individuals in connection with a major drug bust. Authorities recovered over 32 kilogrammes of crystal meth and 23 kilogrammes of marijuana during the operation, highlighting ongoing efforts to curb illegal narcotics trafficking within the Sultanate.
This significant seizure reflects the ROP’s continued focus on identifying and dismantling organized networks involved in drug distribution. The Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances has been actively monitoring suspicious activities, conducting intelligence-led operations, and collaborating with local and international agencies to prevent the circulation of illicit substances.
