Rop Arrests 33 For Illegal Entry Into Oman

MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has reported the arrest of 33 individuals of Iranian and Afghan nationality for illegally entering the Sultanate of Oman. The arrest occurred as part of a broader security operation aimed at curbing illegal immigration. These individuals were apprehended after attempting to cross into Oman through unauthorized routes, evading standard border controls.

ROP officials confirmed that the suspects were caught in both land and maritime locations, highlighting the diverse methods used to attempt illegal entry into the country.
