Omani-Saudi Military Exercise “Solidarity/1” Kicks Off

SAUDIA ARABIA: The first joint Omani-Saudi military exercise, “Solidarity/1,” officially began in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing together forces from both nations to strengthen military cooperation. The exercise involves a force from the Oman Coast Battalion of the Infantry Brigade (23) of the Royal Army of Oman and a contingent from the Second Battalion of the 20th Brigade Group of the Saudi Armed Forces.

Running until December 26, the joint exercise is designed to enhance coordination and exchange expertise between the two armies. It includes a series of military operations, plans, and field training exercises aimed at boosting operational skills and achieving key training objectives. The exercise will further solidify the defense partnership between Oman and Saudi Arabia, promoting greater regional security and stability.

Both sides will engage in various operational scenarios to foster deeper collaboration, ensuring that both forces are well-prepared to respond to potential security challenges. This exercise reflects the growing strategic ties between the two nations and their commitment to mutual defense and cooperation in the face of regional developments.
