Oman Human Rights Commission Recognizes Renaissance Services for Worker Welfare Contributions

MUSCAT: The Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) has commended Renaissance Services for its significant contributions to advancing worker welfare and workplace standards in the Sultanate of Oman. The recognition followed a recent visit by an OHRC delegation to Renaissance Village Duqm (RSVD), led by Dr Rashid bin Hamad Al Balushi, Chairman, OHRC.

During the visit, Renaissance’s commitment to international human rights principles was clearly demonstrated, particularly through its alignment with International Labour Organization (ILO) standards in worker welfare, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), as well as fostering a supportive working environment.

Dr Rashid noted in his letter of appreciation: “We had the privilege to witness first-hand the outstanding level of care and services provided, reflecting adherence to international standards of occupational health and safety in worker accommodation. Your commitment to creating a supportive working environment with top-notch facilities and safety measures, aligned with the principles of human rights, is truly commendable. We sincerely thank you for your continuous efforts, dedication, and initiatives that not only enhance the quality of life for workers but also champion the values of human rights within the workplace.
