Oman Hosts Handball Tournament Draw Ceremony Tomorrow

MUSCAT: The much-anticipated tournament draw ceremony will take place tomorrow evening (Wednesday), attended by Musa bin Khamis Al Balushi, Chairman of the Oman Handball Federation, alongside senior officials including Jihad bin Abdullah Al Sheikh, Vice Chairman of Oman Club and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and representatives from participating Gulf clubs.

The event will feature a speech by the organizing committee and the official unveiling of the tournament logo. Eight clubs are competing for the title: Oman Club and Seeb Club (Oman), Al Noor Club (Saudi Arabia), defending champions Al Rayyan Club and Al Arabi (Qatar), Al Kuwait Club (Kuwait), Dibba Al Hisn Club (UAE), and Al Najma Club (Bahrain).

The teams will be divided into two groups, with each group playing a single-round league format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, setting the stage for an exciting showdown.

The tournament is expected to draw large crowds, with handball enthusiasts from across the region eagerly awaiting the intense competition. The event aims to promote sportsmanship and strengthen the bonds between Gulf countries, as well as providing a platform for teams to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level.
