OMAN: Oman has expressed strong condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces’ recent attack on the city of Jenin, located in the occupied West Bank. The attack, which resulted in significant casualties and widespread destruction, has drawn international attention to the ongoing violence in the region. Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement reaffirming its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights to self-determination and freedom from occupation.

The statement condemned the escalating violence and called for immediate international intervention to end the suffering of Palestinians. Oman emphasized the importance of upholding international law, particularly the Geneva Conventions, which prohibit attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure during armed conflicts. The country reiterated its call for the protection of Palestinian lives and the cessation of Israeli military actions in Palestinian territories.

Oman has consistently been an advocate for peace in the Middle East and has urged the international community to take a stronger stand in addressing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The attack on Jenin further highlights the dire need for a political solution that guarantees peace, security, and justice for both Palestinians and Israelis. Oman has also called for the restoration of Palestinian rights and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

In addition to condemning the attack, Oman expressed solidarity with the families of those affected and pledged continued diplomatic efforts to ensure that the voices of the Palestinian people are heard on the global stage. Oman’s position is clear: the violence must end, and a just and lasting peace must be achieved through negotiations based on international law and respect for human rights.
