The operation was conducted as part of a broader campaign to enforce legal compliance and maintain social order within the governorate. Officials emphasized the importance of adhering to the legal framework that governs employment and residency in Oman to protect both citizens and expatriates.

The arrested individuals were found to be working or residing without proper documentation or permits, which contravenes the nation’s strict labor and immigration policies. The security forces worked in coordination with immigration and labor departments to identify and detain those in violation. This coordinated effort reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to uphold the rule of law and safeguard the rights and welfare of workers within the Sultanate.

Following their arrest, the individuals are being processed according to Omani legal procedures, which may include fines, deportation, or other penalties as stipulated by law. Authorities also reiterated that the government encourages legal employment and residency processes to ensure fair treatment and protection for all workers and residents. These measures aim to create a balanced labor market and a safe environment for the country’s economic growth.

The Ministry of Interior praised the security forces’ diligence and urged the public to report any suspicious activities related to illegal residency or labor violations. Continuous monitoring and enforcement are essential to maintaining Oman’s reputation as a safe and lawful destination for expatriates and investors, reinforcing the nation’s stability and prosperity.
