National Lab For Local Content Officially Begins Work In Muscat

MUSCAT: The National Lab for Local Content, a pivotal initiative aimed at fostering sustainable development and economic growth, has officially started its operations in Muscat. This initiative is spearheaded by the General Secretariat of the Tender Board, working in collaboration with the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit. It represents a critical step toward realizing the goals of Oman Vision 2040, which focuses on enhancing the use of local resources and boosting national capabilities.

The lab is designed to promote the inclusion of local content across various sectors by creating strategies that support domestic industries, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and job creation for Omanis.
