OMAN: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued Royal Decree No. 15/2025, amending some provisions of the previous Royal Decree No. 88/2022 concerning official holidays. The updated decree designates November 20 and 21 as the fixed dates for the National Day of Oman each year, providing clarity and consistency for this significant national occasion.

The decision to establish fixed dates reflects His Majesty’s vision for creating a unified celebration that aligns with the historical and cultural importance of the National Day.
