MUSCAT: The Ministry of Education (MoE) is scheduled to release the results of the General Education Diploma (GED) exams for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year today at 4:00 PM. This eagerly awaited moment for students marks the culmination of months of hard work and dedication. The GED exam results will be made available through a range of channels to ensure easy access for all students across the country.
Students will be able to check their results through SMS, making the process convenient for those who may not have immediate access to the internet. To receive the results, students are required to send their seat number to 90200, and the results will be sent directly to their mobile phones. This method ensures that students can quickly and easily find out how they performed in their exams without needing to visit any physical locations.
The MoE has partnered with the three major telecom providers in Oman—Omantel, Ooredoo, and Vodafone—to facilitate this SMS service. This partnership aims to ensure that all students, regardless of their mobile service provider, have the ability to access their results in a timely and efficient manner. It also ensures that students in rural areas with limited internet access can still check their results with ease.
As the results are released, the MoE encourages students to stay calm and positive, regardless of the outcome. The GED results are an important milestone, but they are not the end of the educational journey. The MoE offers a variety of pathways for students to continue their academic and professional development, with further opportunities to pursue higher education or vocational training programs across Oman and abroad.
