AL WAJAJAH: Oman Customs has confirmed the arrest of an Indian national at Al Wajajah Port for attempting to smuggle a large quantity of alcoholic beverages into the country. The incident occurred during a routine inspection when customs officials became suspicious of a vehicle entering the Sultanate. Upon further examination, they discovered a significant stash of alcohol concealed in various compartments of the vehicle, in violation of the country’s strict import regulations.
