MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik hosted an official dinner at Al Alam Palace guesthouse for President Joao Lourenco of Angola and his delegation during their official visit to Oman. The event underscored the strengthening of diplomatic ties between the two nations.
Prior to the dinner, His Majesty and his spouse exchanged commemorative gifts with the President and First Lady of Angola. His Majesty presented an Omani sword, a symbol of Oman’s heritage, while the Angolan President gifted an artistic painting and a statue representing Angola’s first queen, reflecting the rich cultural traditions of their nation.
The diplomatic visit highlights the mutual commitment of Oman and Angola to fostering deeper economic and cultural collaborations.
