Education Ministry Launches 2025 Summer Programme In North Batinah

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Education has officially launched its 2025 summer programme for school students in various wilayats across the North Al Batinah Governorate. The initiative is part of a broader national strategy to engage students in meaningful educational and recreational activities during the summer break. The programme includes a wide range of workshops, creative projects, science activities, and physical fitness sessions designed to promote holistic development and encourage productive use of free time.

Students participating in the programme will benefit from enhanced learning environments that go beyond classroom instruction. The activities are carefully curated to foster critical thinking, teamwork, creativity, and civic awareness. Several government schools and educational centers in the governorate have been designated as programme venues, each equipped with resources and trained facilitators to manage student groups effectively.

This year’s summer initiative also places emphasis on cultural awareness and national identity, with special sessions focused on Omani heritage, traditions, and language skills. Students will be encouraged to participate in discussions, drama performances, and storytelling sessions that celebrate the Sultanate’s rich culture. The programme also aims to instill positive values such as responsibility, cooperation, and environmental awareness.

Officials from the Ministry of Education stated that the 2025 programme reflects the ministry’s ongoing efforts to support student development and prepare youth to be active contributors to national progress. Regular assessments and feedback mechanisms will be implemented throughout the programme to ensure that it meets educational goals and addresses students’ evolving interests. The initiative is expected to reach hundreds of students across North Al Batinah.
