Dubai Humanitarian’s 25th Airlift Delivers Critical Aid to Gaza

DUBAI: Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Humanitarian has successfully completed its 25th airlift to support emergency response efforts in Gaza. The latest shipment included 56.8 metric tonnes of vital medical supplies and was executed in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO). Valued at over AED 4.33 million, the airlift reaffirms Dubai’s dedication to providing life-saving assistance to communities in crisis, highlighting its prominent role in global humanitarian efforts.

The shipment’s primary focus is to address urgent trauma care needs and surgical requirements for over 250,000 affected individuals. By ensuring a steady flow of critical equipment such as surgical kits, emergency care supplies, and life-support essentials, Dubai Humanitarian aims to significantly bolster the capacity of healthcare providers working in some of the most challenging conditions. These supplies are crucial for stabilizing patients, performing surgeries, and managing complex medical emergencies arising from the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

The logistical operation involved transporting the supplies to El Arish Airport in Egypt, strategically positioned near the Gaza border. Once safe access is granted, the supplies will be rapidly deployed into Gaza to reach hospitals, field clinics, and medical units in dire need. This critical positioning allows Dubai Humanitarian and its partners to act immediately when humanitarian corridors open, ensuring that the aid reaches those suffering without unnecessary delay.

Dubai Humanitarian’s mission continues to be a beacon of hope for vulnerable populations across the globe. By responding swiftly and decisively to emergencies, the organization demonstrates an unwavering commitment to alleviating human suffering. This 25th airlift is a testament to Dubai’s broader vision of extending support beyond borders, uniting international efforts to deliver critical aid, foster resilience, and uphold the dignity of those impacted by conflict and disaster.
