MUSCAT: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) in Muscat successfully rescued an individual who sustained injuries while hiking in the mountainous terrain of the Wilayat of Muscat. The incident prompted an immediate response from the CDAA’s rescue and ambulance teams, who swiftly mobilized to provide aid.
According to a statement from the CDAA, the rescue teams received a report regarding the injured hiker and quickly deployed to the scene. Upon arrival, the teams were able to locate the individual and assess his condition. The hiker had sustained moderate injuries, and the CDAA personnel provided essential first aid and emergency medical care on-site.
After stabilizing the injured hiker, the rescue teams carefully transported him to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The CDAA highlighted that their response was swift and efficient, thanks to the coordinated efforts of the rescue and ambulance teams in Muscat Governorate.
