AI Symposium Highlights Food Security Innovations in Oman

MUSCAT: The Oman Association for Consumer Protection (OACP) hosted a symposium in Muscat to explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in enhancing food security and ensuring sustainable resource management. The event highlighted the potential of AI to revolutionize agriculture by increasing efficiency and addressing challenges in food production, distribution, and sustainability. Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Bakri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources for Agriculture, the symposium brought together experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss critical strategies for leveraging AI in the Sultanate’s agricultural sector.
