KOZHIKODE: M.T. Vasudevan Nair, one of the most celebrated figures in Indian literature, passed away tonight in Kozhikode at the age of 91. He had been undergoing treatment for a heart ailment and had been hospitalized for 11 days due to heart and respiratory issues. His condition deteriorated, leading to his death. Vasudevan Nair’s passing marks the end of an era in Malayalam literature, as he was widely regarded as one of its greatest contributors.
