HH Sayyid Shihab Returns Home After Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit

MUSCAT: HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs, returned to Muscat on Monday evening following his leadership of the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation at the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit held in Doha, Qatar. The summit brought together leaders from across the Arab and Islamic world to discuss pressing regional issues, security challenges, and cooperative measures aimed at promoting stability and mutual understanding. HH Sayyid Shihab’s participation underscored Oman’s active engagement and constructive role in regional diplomacy and conflict resolution.

Accompanying HH Sayyid Shihab was an official delegation comprising key ministers and representatives, including Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance; Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Sa’eedi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs; Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information; and Sayyid Ammar bin Abdullah Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Qatar. The composition of the delegation highlighted the Sultanate’s holistic approach to foreign relations, combining political, financial, legal, and informational perspectives to contribute effectively to summit deliberations.

During the summit, Oman’s delegation engaged in detailed discussions on matters of regional security, economic cooperation, and the humanitarian challenges facing the Arab and Islamic world.
