In Tanuf, located in the Wilayat of Nizwa, the weather was more intense. A thunderstorm accompanied by hail struck the area during the afternoon, prompting brief disruptions in visibility and localized accumulation of hail on roads and rooftops. The Oman Meteorology Department had issued earlier warnings regarding the likelihood of such activity, and authorities urged motorists and residents to exercise caution during storm conditions. Thunder and lightning were audible and visible over a wide radius, sparking awe but also safety concerns among locals.
Meanwhile, Al Mudhaibi in North Al Sharqiyah experienced varying degrees of rainfall intensity, accompanied by strong downwinds. The gusty winds led to minor property disturbances such as fallen tree branches and light debris in open spaces. Municipal teams were deployed quickly to clear any obstructions and ensure roads remained passable.
