MUSCAT: The Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science, under the Diwan of Royal Court, has officially opened the registration window for the 14th edition of the widely acclaimed ‘Iqraa for Young Readers’ competition. Designed to foster a love of reading among children and teenagers, this initiative plays a vital role in promoting cultural engagement and literary development throughout the Sultanate of Oman.
The competition encourages young participants to explore diverse literary genres and expand their reading horizons. It aims to cultivate a generation of readers who are intellectually curious, articulate, and informed about both national heritage and global literature. Applicants are invited to demonstrate their comprehension and critical thinking through various reading-based challenges and assessments.
