UAE: The UAE Cabinet has approved the establishment of a new AI-powered Legislative Intelligence Office, designed to enhance how new laws are evaluated and implemented across the country. This innovative system will track how legislation impacts both the public and the national economy, using real-time data and artificial intelligence tools to improve the process of lawmaking.
Chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Cabinet’s initiative will connect federal and local legislation with court rulings, public services, and procedural frameworks. This integration aims to provide a comprehensive picture of how legal changes affect various aspects of governance and citizen life.
Additionally, the AI system will be linked to global research centers to benefit from international experiences and best practices in policy-making. This global learning approach is expected to make the UAE’s legislative processes more responsive, data-driven, and aligned with international standards.
The creation of the Legislative Intelligence Office is part of the UAE’s broader strategy to modernize governance, encourage innovation, and promote sustainable development. It reflects the leadership’s commitment to using advanced technologies to serve citizens better and drive national progress.
