MUSCAT: The ceremony, set to be held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Ghassan bin Hilal bin Khalifa Al Alawi, Chairman of the State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority, will mark the official launch of Ad Dakhiliyah’s new visual identity. This important initiative is aligned with Oman Vision 2040, which seeks to highlight the governorate’s cultural and historical heritage while encouraging growth in economic, tourism, and social sectors.
The visual identity will aim to position Ad Dakhiliyah as a leading center for innovation, tourism, and investment, showcasing the unique aspects of the region. His Excellency Sheikh Hilal bin Saeed Al Hajri, Governor of Ad Dakhiliyah, expressed that the new identity would play a significant role in improving the governorate’s image, promoting its tourism, and fostering a sense of pride among residents.
The three-day ceremony will feature several key events, including a press conference to announce the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award. A symposium on digital transformation will follow, where experts will present papers on innovative strategies and the integration of technology into various sectors, with a particular focus on the local economy.
Earlier this year, a workshop was organized to gather input from the community to help shape the visual identity. Feedback from local stakeholders was taken into account, ensuring that the design would resonate with both residents and visitors. The result is an identity that blends the rich history of Ad Dakhiliyah with its bright future, reinforcing its role as a cultural and economic hub in Oman.
