MUSCAT: Thousands of Omani citizens and residents had the opportunity to tour the Italian naval ship, Amerigo Vespucci, which has been docked at Port Sultan Qaboos since December 8. The majestic ship, known for its historical significance and impressive design, attracted a large crowd eager to explore its decks and learn about its rich maritime heritage.
The Amerigo Vespucci, one of the oldest and most beautiful training vessels in the world, is renowned for its role in educating future Italian naval officers. Visitors were able to marvel at its traditional rigging, grand masts, and well-preserved interiors.
